Priority Themes for Swiss Sustainability Research

Launch of the SRI white paper

17:00 - 19:00

What are the priority issues in the context of the 2030 Agenda that science must address? This question has been explored by the Initiative for Sustainability Research. On December 8, we will launch the resulting white paper: the main authors will present highlights in an expert talk, before we put the topics up for broader discussion with key players.

In 10 years' time, we want to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. The Initiative for Sustainability Research (SRI) of the Swiss Academy of Sciences supports science in participating more broadly in this societal project.

Over the past 18 months, priority themes for sustainability research in Switzerland have been identified and developed in a participatory process. On December 8, we will launch the resulting white paper - be part of it via livestream!
