European Sustainability Science Conference 2026 – Registrations are open
In an era of polycrisis — radical climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, social inequalities, and geopolitical instability — at both planetary and local scales, the need to interrogate the role of technologies in shaping our shared future is urgent. The European Sustainability Science Conference, taking place at the University of Lausanne on 2-5 June 2026, aims to open a critical conversation on how we might transform technological systems toward sufficiency, equity, and resilience. Registrations are now open!

Call: Stadt Bern schreibt den Nachhaltigkeitspreis 2026 aus
Die Stadt Bern verleiht im September im Rahmen der Berner Nachhaltigkeitstage zum dritten Mal den Berner Nachhaltigkeitspreis. Der Preis honoriert Engagements, die einen Beitrag für die nachhaltige Entwicklung leisten. Er richtet sich an Vereine, Gruppen, Unternehmen oder Organisationen, deren primäres Wirkungsgebiet sich über die Stadt Bern erstreckt.

Best practices internationales en matière de dépistage précoce
Le 24 février 2026, des expertes et experts suisses et européens ont échangé sur les best practices en matière de dépistage précoce. Cette rencontre s'inscrivait dans le cadre du projet «Approche méthodologique pour le dépistage précoce des questions sociales pertinentes». Dans le cadre de ce projet, l’Académie suisse des sciences naturelles (SCNAT) et l’Office fédéral de l’environnement (OFEV) élaborent ensemble une démarche systématique visant à identifier en amont les thématiques d’importance sociale.
