Best practices internationales en matière de dépistage précoce
Le 24 février 2026, des expertes et experts suisses et européens ont échangé sur les best practices en matière de dépistage précoce. Cette rencontre s'inscrivait dans le cadre du projet « Approche méthodologique pour le dépistage précoce des questions sociales pertinentes ». Dans le cadre de ce projet, l’Académie suisse des sciences naturelles (SCNAT) et l’Office fédéral de l’environnement (OFEV) élaborent ensemble une démarche systématique visant à identifier en amont les thématiques d’importance sociale.

This article traces the history of saguf ’s working group Environmental Humanities from 2014 to 2025 and reflects on its contributions in Switzerland and beyond.

International call for disruptive technologies in 2026
Starting in January 2026, the SNSF will participate in an international call for interdisciplinary research projects on disruptive technologies designed to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Rethinking science-policy-practice interaction for transformative sustainability research and innovation in Europe
A new publication of the CASRI project finds that siloed structures and the need to engage various societal sectors and governance levels continue to pose significant challenges to effective collaboration between science, policy, practice, and society in Europe. In view of the highly variable contexts for interaction and communication throughout Europe, the paper proposes to invest in greater recognition of the diverse dimensions of inclusive participation. It draws on national surveys on the science-policy-practice interface from 14 countries, including Switzerland.
